Fresko Foods is a family-run wholesale food business based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. With over 30 years in the food industry and ISO 22000 food safety certification, they supply restaurants and takeaways across the UK from their factory and head office on Clayfield Industrial Estate. They came to us through Google – and when they arrived, they’d never had a website.
Not because the business wasn’t ready for one. Because they’d never needed one. Three decades of growth built entirely on trade relationships, word of mouth, and the quality of what they produce.
There is a particular challenge in building a first website for a well-established business: the site has to earn the trust that the business has already spent years building in the real world. A cheap or generic site would do more harm than no site at all.
Fresko had decided it was time. They’d commissioned professional product photography specifically for the project – the brief was to do it properly or not at all. The design had to match the quality of the food and the imagery. Anything less would undersell a business with 30 years of hard-earned credibility behind it.
We designed and built a clean, image-led brochure site on WordPress that puts the food front and centre. The product photography is genuinely outstanding – rich, detailed, and immediately appetite-inducing – so we made it the centrepiece of the design rather than an afterthought.
The site covers Fresko’s story, their full product range, customer reviews, and their ISO 22000 certification – the kind of credentials that matter to trade buyers making purchasing decisions. Enquiries are handled through both a contact form and WhatsApp integration, so prospective trade customers can get in touch however suits them best.
We kept the scope deliberately focused. No e-commerce, no unnecessary complexity. Fresko didn’t need a complicated site – they needed a credible one. A professional online home that reflects the standard of the business behind it and gives new trade customers the confidence to pick up the phone.
Fresko Foods have been on our care and management plan for over two years. We handle hosting, security updates, backups, and any content changes they need. For a business that traded successfully for over 30 years without a website, the goal now is simple: keep it fast, keep it reliable, and let them get on with supplying great food.
