ACR Estate Agents is an award-winning independent estate agency based in Bawtry, covering Doncaster and the surrounding South Yorkshire villages. Founded by Abi, ACR offers a personal, full-service approach to selling homes (from valuation to completion) that’s earned them Gold Winner at the British Property Awards 2025 for Estate Agent in Doncaster.
Abi came to us with a strong brand and a clear problem. Her existing website had been built by a major estate agent website provider, one of the template-based outfits that builds the same site for hundreds of agencies and charges for every small change. Any tweak meant a request, a quote, and a wait. The site looked like every other agency’s. It didn’t reflect the bespoke, hands-on service ACR actually offers.
ACR’s previous website had two problems, both expensive in their own way.
The first was design. It looked like every other agency site because it was every other agency site: same template, swapped colours, swapped logo. For an agency built on personal service and quality marketing, having a website indistinguishable from the competition was working against the brand every day it stayed live.
The second was operational. Every listing was being added twice: once into Street CRM, where Abi managed her properties, and again into the website. Two systems, double the admin, and every time something needed updating (a price change, a status update, a sold-STC flag), it had to be done in both places. For a solo-led agency where Abi already does the valuations, viewings, photography, and chain management, doubling the admin on every listing wasn’t just inefficient. It was time she could have spent with clients.
And every small change to the website itself meant going back to the previous provider with a request and a credit card.
A full rebuild on WordPress, with the centrepiece being a custom-built Street CRM integration. Off-the-shelf plugins exist for this. One we looked at connected to 100+ CRMs and would have charged Abi $250/year in perpetuity. Abi only uses Street. So we built an integration that only does Street: pulling property data via Street’s API every 15 minutes, mapping the fields into ACF, and rendering them through a dynamic property template that shows or hides sections based on which fields actually have data.
The result: Abi adds a listing in Street, and it’s on the website within 15 minutes. No second upload, no copy-paste, no separate admin. She manages her properties in one place, the place she was already using.
The design side was equally deliberate. Abi already had a strong brand and her own product photography, so the build was about giving her a site that looked nothing like her competitors and properly reflected the service she offers. Hero photography of Abi herself, clean and confident typography, and a property browsing experience that actually feels considered rather than templated.
Abi no longer has to log in to her website. Listings go into Street, the website picks them up, the property pages render with live mortgage costs, and enquiries arrive in her inbox with the property already identified.
The site’s done its job on the brand side too. It looks nothing like her competitors, properly reflects the bespoke service ACR offers, and supports the credibility that earned her Gold Winner at the British Property Awards 2025.
ACR are on a Pixelish care plan. We handle hosting, maintenance, backups, security updates, and any development work as the business grows. Abi gets on with selling houses.
