On 15th November 2014, five teenagers tragically lost their lives in a road traffic accident in Doncaster. The Lost & Found Road Safety Campaign was created by Jordanna’s mum, Vicki, and a close family friend, Vicky, a teacher in Doncaster, to ensure her memory lives on and that other families never experience the same heartbreak. Working with Outwood Academy Adwick, they deliver a 40-minute road safety assembly to Year 11 and post-16 students, giving young people the skills and knowledge to be safe on the roads.
The campaign had no online presence. They needed somewhere to tell Jordanna’s story, explain what they offer to schools, share media coverage and testimonials, and make it easy for schools to book assemblies. The site needed to handle a deeply emotional subject with sensitivity while still being clear and practical.
We built this site pro bono. Some projects matter more than a fee. The design is clean, respectful and lets the story speak for itself. The homepage leads with the campaign’s mission and impact stats, then tells Jordanna’s story. Dedicated sections cover what the campaign offers, testimonials and media coverage, upcoming events, and a straightforward contact route for schools. It’s a small site with a big purpose.
The team at Pixelish went above and beyond for us and made it possible for us to do what we do. The design of the website is perfect — they were super quick and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t thank them enough. We highly recommend Pixelish.
Not every project is about business. The Lost & Found campaign exists to prevent other families from going through what Jordanna’s family went through. Building their website was the least we could do to help amplify that message.
